About Fresh Cuts

A barbershop on East Main Street with four chairs and one price list. Cuts, skin fades, beard work and the straight razor — open Tuesday through Sunday, closed Mondays, and walk-ins have always been welcome.

Seventy-one people have reviewed it on Google. Most of them name a barber.

Open on Sunday

Ten to seven, six days a week, Tuesday through Sunday. Sunday is the day most of this street is shut and most people are actually free.

Closed Monday

The one day nobody is in. It is the most useful thing to know about this shop, so it is on the site four times rather than found out on the doorstep.

Walk in or book

Walk-ins have always been welcome and always will be. Booking is for when you want a particular barber, or you do not want to wait.

You pick the chair

Everybody has a barber. Choose yours by name, see the times they are genuinely free, and that is who you get — at the same price as any other chair.

Good for kids

A kids’ cut is its own line on the menu with its own price, not an adult cut done quickly. Bring them in.

Cash or card

Nothing is taken online. No deposit, no card details, no membership. Settle up at the counter when you are done.

The neighbourhood

A shop, not a chain

Fresh Cuts sits in the row of storefronts on East Main, under a hand-painted board with a scissor glyph where the space in the name should be, a scalloped edge, and a scatter of navy stars. Somebody made that sign by hand. Every colour, rule and edge on this website came off it.

There is no membership, no app to download, no package to buy up front and no “next available stylist”. There is a row of chairs and the barbers you already know by name. Booking online just puts your name against one of those chairs before you get here.

You’re welcome in Fresh Cuts.

Come as you are

Tell your barber what you actually want, sit down, and leave looking like yourself on a good day. That is the entire brief.
